Bouncy Castles / Inflatables & Soft Play:
1. All inflatable's have age limits and user number limits (stated on our company website: www.skyeland.co.uk and on each individual bouncy castle). Soft Play equipment has an upper user age of 5 years old. Please ensure no-one over this age uses the equipment. 2. No food, drink or chewing gum allowed on the inflatable. 3. All badges, hats, jewellery, shoes and spectacles MUST be removed before using the equipment. 4. Socks must be worn at all times when playing on inflatables. No form of shoe/footwear (other than socks) is to be worn on inflatables. 5. Keep all and any sharp objects away from inflatables at all times. 6. No smoking on or near the inflatable. BBQ's, bonfires and any other source of ignition/flame should be a suitable distance away so as not to cause direct damage from flames or indirect damage through floating ash, etc. 7. If safety equipment is supplied with the inflatable (helmets, mats, etc.) this must be used/worn at all time whilst on the inflatable. Ensure that safety mats are maintained at the entrance/exits of inflatables. 8.Climbing, hanging or sitting on the walls/sides/roofs/tops of an inflatable is DANGEROUS and is not allowed. DO NOT allow anyone to play around the sides or back of the inflatables (non-inflatable areas), or close proximity to the blower fan. 9.A responsible adult (over the age of 18 years old) must supervise the equipment at ALL times. Said adult must not be under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. 10. Ensure the inflatable is not overcrowded. Limit the number of people using the inflatable. If children are colliding into each other then it is too crowded. Try to limit large children and small children using the inflatable at the same time. All inflatables have an information label with the age/size and user number limits, you must comply with these limits. Inflatables for use with toddlers only are not suitable for use by adults, serious injury/damage can be caused to persons and equipment. 11. DO NOT allow anyone to bounce on the front/entrance step, this is only there to help users get on and off the equipment safely. 12. Anyone who is pregnant, has a medical condition, suffers from back/neck problems or is feeling unwell should not use equipment. 13. NO-ONE is allowed on the equipment during inflation or deflation. 14. Safety mats are there for a reason, please do not move these away from the equipment. 15. ALL PETS MUST be kept away from the inflatable at all times. 16. Face-paints, glitter tattoos, party-poppers, coloured streamers or ‘silly string’ must NOT be used when on or near the inflatable.
Soft Play
1. Do not allow anyone to jump from the top of the play equipment or steps. Steps and slide are there to assist users in getting on or off! 2. Ensure anyone who is has a medical condition, suffers from back/neck problems or is feeling unwell does not use the equipment. 3. The equipment should not be used if it becomes wet, as the surfaces may become slippery. If soiling of the equipment does occur, the hirer is responsible for cleaning the equipment using ONLY water – any other type of solution will damage the equipment. 4. The Ball Pool should be limited to no more than 6 children at any one time (4 babies in the case of the baby ball pool). Although the Soft play equipment is cleaned regularly it is recommended that supervising adults discourage children from placing balls in their mouths for hygiene purposes. Particular care should be taken when younger children and toddlers are exiting the Ball Pool to ensure no accidents occur. 5. Diving/ jumping into or standing on the side of the Ball Pool MUST NOT be allowed by anyone. 6. Safety mats must always be used under the Ball Pool and all soft play items. Soft play equipment must not be thrown and Ball Pool balls should not be removed once set up. 7. Rockers should be supervised closely and only one child should play on each at any time. 8.Children must not stand on the seats of any ride-on/sit-on toy. 9. Ride-on toys must not be used as “bumper cars” whereby children deliberately run into another child’s toy/vehicle at any time. 10. It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure that, once set up, due care and attention is given to avoid injury to its users or damage to the soft play equipment. 


When the equipment is collected please ensure it is in the same condition as when it was delivered. (A cleaning charge will be required if any of these conditions are not met.)  If you are unsure about anything, please contact us on 07534551363 or our mobile: 07740356585.If there is a problem or power cut please contact us IMMEDIATELY. Electrics and water do not mix. In the event of rain, please DO NOT use the inflatable. The blower fan should be covered with something such as a garden table, and all electrics should be left well alone. If concerned, or any doubts, please contact a member of SkyeLand Soft Play/Jenner-Dyer Holdings Ltd. immediately. Any wetness on the inflatable, including bubbling, can be dried with a towel. The bouncy castle may become more slippery when wet. During light rain a cover is to be placed over the fan/blower to prevent water being sucked into the inflatable (a small picnic table or similar), similarly any exposed power points/supplies /connections should be covered as well. During heavy rain/ downpour TURN OFF THE POWER at source IMMEDIATELY and cover power source, any junctions and fan/blower. Similarly, bouncy castles can be dangerous if exposed to high winds. If wind picks up, and/or there are intermittent gusts of wind, the bouncy castle should not be used. The blower should be turned off and bouncy castle deflated and secured so as it not to blow away. As a guide, if the wind is strong enough to be causing any movement in the sidewalls of the bouncy castle, the bouncy castle should not be used.
Company Terms and Conditions of Booking
Please ensure that the following safety instructions are followed once the inflatable and or soft play equipment is set up, the safe operation of the equipment becomes the hirer’s (person who signs this form) responsibility and they must ensure that all possible steps are taken to avoid people injuring themselves and damage to the equipment. Please ensure the following safety instructions are adhered to. These are in addition to our standard hire contract form’s (If the Hirer is in any doubt as to the meaning of the following, a representative from SkyeLand Soft Play Ltd/Jenner-Dyer Holdings Ltd should immediately be consulted).
1 Definitions  1.1 The “Client” means the person/s, organisation or company booking the equipment and/or services with the “Company”. 1.2 The “Company” means SkyeLand Soft Play Ltd/Jenner-Dyer Holdings Ltd. 1.3 The “Equipment” refers to any and all equipment hired from the company by the hirer, such as bouncy castles, soft play, tables, chairs, etc)  

2 Bookings   2.1 All equipment remains the property of the company at all times. 2.2 By placing an order with the company either verbally or via e-mail regardless of whether a booking form has been returned or deposit paid it is deemed that the customer has read, understood, fully agreed to and is bound by all our contract terms and conditions of hire. 2.3 We will endeavour to arrive in plenty of time to set up the equipment, however the company is not responsible for any delay incurred through unforeseen circumstances, i.e. traffic problems, bad weather, etc. In the event of traffic or other uncontrollable circumstances preventing the company from being able to fulfil our contracted obligations the company’s liability shall be limited to a refund of any monies paid in relation to any equipment hired or a pro-rata reduction in the hire fee in the event of a delayed start. No further compensation will be paid irrespective of any loss of earnings. 2.4 Bookings are only confirmed once a deposit has been received by the company.
3 Prices, Deposit & Balance Payments  3.1 All hires up to and including £200 are subject to a deposit of £40 or 25% of the total booking cost, whichever is greater. 3.2 All hires over £200.00 are subject to a deposit of £100 or 40% of the total booking cost, whichever is greater. 3.3 Deposits, once paid, are to be deducted from the final bill. 3.4 The balance shall be paid in full no later than 7 days prior to the date of hire. 3.5 All payments can be made by cash, Paypal (1.7% charge), cheque (made payable to Jenner-Dyer Holdings Ltd) or bank transfer (preferable), and must clear in the company’s bank account at least 3 working days prior to the date of hire. If payment is to be made by cheque, then it must be sent and cleared in the company’s bank account 10 days prior to the event start. 3.6 Advertised prices are subject to change without prior notification. 3.7 The company reserves the right to charge interest on all overdue accounts – at LIBOR + 8%. 3.8 The company reserves the right to charge a late payment fee of: £25 for up to and including £200, £40 for anything over £200. 3.9 All cheque payments that do not clear will be subject to an additional charge of £30.00. 3.10 The company reserves the right to recover all legal & admin costs incurred. 3.11 All prices are inclusive of any tax, unless otherwise stated. 3.12 Any vouchers wishing to be used must be presented at time of booking BEFORE a deposit has been made. 3.13 All vouchers are only payment for equipment hire, and may incur an additional delivery fee subject to the distance travelled or outdoor cleaning charge. 
4 Cancellations  4.1 Any cancelled orders up to and including £200 are subject to the following cancellation charges: More than 4 weeks prior to the hire date there is a full refund. Within 2-4 weeks prior to the hire date, 25% of the total hire cost shall be charged. Within 2 weeks prior to the hire date, 50% of the total hire cost shall be charged. On the day of the event, 100% of the total hire cost shall be charged. 4.2 Any cancelled orders over £200 are subject to the following cancellation charges: More than 4 weeks prior to the hire date there is a full refund. Within 3-4 weeks prior to the event date 25% of the total hire cost shall be charged. Within 2-3 weeks prior to the hire date 50% of the total hire cost shall be charged. Within 2 weeks prior to the event date 75% of the total hire cost shall be charged. On the day of the event 100% of the total hire cost shall be charged. 4.3 If cancellation is due to bad weather, such as snow, heavy rain or high wind, for outdoor events (to be determined by the company - by our management or on-site delivery team) on the day, then there is no charge providing we have not taken equipment out of the van/s or left the delivery depot if your event is outside Derbyshire area, in which case there may be a small fuel charge, at the discretion of the company. Please note we use MetOffice weather website for weather information. 4.4 The company must be notified of cancellations or changes to any booking in writing via email or post and will only be accepted from the email receipt date or franking date of the envelope upon receipt at our offices.

Equipment 5.1 The company reserves the right to substitute hired equipment with equipment of a similar type and value without notice in the event of previous damage or loss of booked equipment. 5.2 All sizes quoted are approximate. 5.3 All equipment remains the property of the company at all times. 5.4 The company reserves the right to amend or alter any product specifications without prior notice. 5.5 All play equipment has age/height/user limits; it is the hirer’s responsibility to ensure that these limits are abided by. Soft play equipment and baby/toddler equipment is strictly only for use by children up to and including the age of 5 years old, please check age ranges for each individual item on our website. 
Timings, Venue, Facilities & Conduct  6.1 We will need approximately 45 minutes to set up the equipment and the same time to pack up and remove the equipment. Bouncy Castle, add on hire may require an additional 15 minutes for set up and pack away. Please take this into account when booking venue times. 6.2 Please leave or allow adequate parking space for a large van as close as possible to the access point for delivery and collection times. Unless previously agreed, due to timings and manual handling issues the company reserves the right to refuse final delivery of the equipment if the distance from the van to equipment setup location is greater than 50m, or has such obstructions that make transportation dangerous to personnel or equipment. 6.3 We can only deliver equipment to a suitably sized open space and we will not be responsible for removing furniture etc. If the area is not big enough for the equipment, we will arrange with the hirer for an appropriately scaled play set to be left, no refund will be made. It is the hirer’s responsibility to ensure there is sufficient space in the venue. 6.4 Hired equipment will be set up in one location only as agreed on arrival and will not be moved once unloaded and set up, unless by prior agreement.  6.5 The company reserve the right to refuse delivery if the venue or site is deemed to be unsuitable or due to insufficient space to install the equipment by our delivery personnel or if the client has failed to notify the company of any delivery obstructions such as stairs/steps or excessive loading distances from our vehicle to the installation site. In such a case no refund will be given and the full contracted fees will be due to the company. 6.6 Regardless of whether using a venue suggested by the company or one that has been sourced by the hirer, the hirer is responsible for ensuring that suitable safety, security, first aid cover and crowd control measures are in place prior to start of event. 6.7 The company reserves the right to cease operation and remove hired equipment from site if at any time a representative of the company feels that guests or clients conduct endangers the safety of the guests, clients, themselves or the safety of the hired equipment. At no time will any level of abuse against our staff be tolerated. In all such cases no refund will be given and full contracted fees will be due to the company, and legal action may be taken against the hirer or accused party. 6.8 If the hirer wishes to charge their guests to use the equipment, they must provide a person to do so. At no time will our staff apart from dealing with the contract balance handle any other monies on the event unless agreed in writing prior to the event.
Liability & Insurance 7.1 The company’s liability insurance covers correct and safe use of the equipment only, as outlined in these terms and conditions. 7.2 The client agrees to indemnify the company for any damage or theft of the company’s equipment whilst on hire. 7.3 The company accepts no liability for any damage or loss of personal property and or any injury arising from the use of the hired equipment. On signing the company’s terms and conditions, the hirer accepts liability for all users of the equipment. The hirer is liable for any accident, damage and/or injury received as a result of non-compliance with any of the stated terms and conditions. In the event of an accident it is recommended that professional medical advice must be sought within 1 hour of the injury occurring, reports are likely to be requested by any Insurance company should a claim arise. 

Damages 8.1 If any damage is caused during the party, the hirer shall notify the company and we will arrange for the cleaning/repair of the equipment. Any costs incurred by the company will be invoiced to the Hirer upon receipt of a quotation from the relevant supplier. All equipment is to be inspected on-site prior to and after every hire and signed for by the hirer. 8.2 If there is any equipment missing at the time of collection, this will require replacement and the cost of which will be invoiced to the hirer. 8.3 Refusal to pay for damages or loss of equipment will result in legal action being taken and all charges will be passed onto the hirer, as well as additional charges for loss of business to the company. If the hirer has made payment by credit or debit card then the company reserves the right to make a charge to the credit or debit card used to make payment for the hire of the equipment, or to send an invoice for the amount to the registered hire address on the contract. 

Miscellaneous 9.1 The hirer will, during the period of the hiring, be responsible for the supervision of the equipment, its care, safety from damage however slight or change of any sort, and the behaviour of all persons of all ages using the equipment whatever their capacity, including proper supervision of children to ensure children under school age use the equipment separately to older children or adults. 9.2 There must be a responsible adult (over the age of 18) supervising children at all times. Responsible adults must not be under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs when in charge. It is the supervising adult’s responsibility to ensure that the equipment does not become over crowded. The hirer should aim to have a ratio of supervising adults to children at 1 supervising adult for every 5 children. 9.3 The Hirer acknowledges that they have read and understand any relevant operating and safety instructions supplied with the equipment. 9.4 The hirer shall not use the equipment for any purpose other than that described in the hiring agreement, and shall not sub hire or use the equipment or allow the equipment to be used for any unlawful purpose or in any unlawful way, nor allow anyone onto the equipment wearing shoes, spectacles, carrying sharp objects, key-rings, metal studded clothing or any other similar items which could cause damage to others or the equipment. No food or drink is to be consumed on the equipment. The hirer should not use the equipment outside in the event of adverse weather conditions, must ensure to locate the equipment on flat ground and satisfy themselves that there is no faeces or any sharp objects on the ground which may damage the equipment. The equipment must also be suitably anchored at all times. 9.5 The hirer is responsible for ensuring that adequate safety barriers and notices are fitted around equipment if required. All equipment must be used in accordance with the HSE Guidance Note PM76/ Entertainment Sheet No 7, all operating instructions issued by the company verbally or in writing and in a suitable safe environment. Any equipment hired for use on licensed premises shall be operated in a fenced off, glass free area. Notices indicating that the area is a GLASS FREE ZONE will also be required. 9.5 The hirer is required to provide access to a working and tested 240-volt 13amp power supply within 25 meters of the site. Each separate inflatable booked will require its own connection from the inflatable to the 240-volt 13amp wall socket. If the equipment is hired with a generator, the additional charge made is for the hire of the generator and is supplied on the basis of being fuelled with one tank of fuel, any additional fuel will be charged for. 9.6 The hirer will provide the following site conditions: A level site for all equipment supplied, a minimum access width of 900mm (please notify the company of any potential obstructions on booking), ensure that the site is free from all debris, sharp objects, animal waste (if animal waste is found then the company will charge for the ground sheet used and this will then become your property at the end of the said hire or refuse to hire the equipment and full payment shall be due) and within 50 meters of the delivery vehicle. If the site is outside of this distance, reserves the right to cancel the booking and invoice the client for the agreed contracted price. 9.7 If any equipment is unable to be collected outside the hire period for whatever reason an additional charge of £50.00 per day, daily hire charge or lost hire contracts whichever shall be the greater, will be payable by the Hirer to the company for each day or part day until the unit comes into the possession of the company. 9.8 IN ALL HIRING CONTRACTS the Hirer or their agent will be required to produce proof of their identity and address. This will only be accepted in the form of Driving License, Utility Bill (dated within 3 months, mobile phone bills not accepted) or Passport. 9.9 THE HIRER shall be deemed to have inspected the equipment, (accessories and trailer(s) if supplied) and to have agreed that it is supplied in good condition unless the hirer brings it to the attention of SkyeLand Soft Play Ltd/Jenner-Dyer Holdings Ltd once setup and doing a walk-round inspection with a SkyeLand Soft Play Ltd/Jenner-Dyer Holdings Ltd employee and any faults noted by the Hirer upon the reverse of the hire contract. Any fault not reported within this time will be deemed to be the responsibility of the hirer. 9.10 FOR EQUIPMENT delivered to site, any delay with regards to meeting the client after the contracted arrival/collection time will be charged at an additional £20 per thirty minutes waiting time incurred. This will be rounded up to the nearest fifteen-minute time period. Should we have to leave to fulfil our other delivery commitments and then return then there will be a re-delivery charge applied based on the additional mileage and labour time incurred. 9.11 PUBLIC LIABILITY INSURANCE is excluded in its entirety following any claim or injury to any third party or employee whether directly or indirectly related to the use of drugs and/or alcohol. 9.12 IN THE EVENT of an accident occurring, full written details must be recorded including, name and address of injured party, circumstances of accident, date and place of incident and a copy of the report to be sent to SkyeLand Soft Play Ltd/Jenner-Dyer Holdings Ltd. 9.14 AT THE END of the hiring the Hirer shall be responsible for leaving the equipment in a clean and tidy condition otherwise SkyeLand Soft Play Ltd/Jenner-Dyer Holdings Ltd shall be at liberty to make an additional charge. If the Hirer fails to return the equipment in a clean and tidy condition SkyeLand Soft Play Ltd/Jenner-Dyer Holdings Ltd are entitled to levy a further charge of £60.00 per unit per hour or part hour for the cleaning and servicing of the equipment, and any loss of hire costs. 9.15 IN THE EVENT of the equipment or any part thereof being rendered unfit for the use for which it has been hired, SkyeLand Soft Play Ltd/Jenner-Dyer Holdings Ltd shall not be liable to the Hirer for any resulting loss or damage whatsoever. Any refund offered for unusable equipment will be entirely at the discretion of SkyeLand Soft Play Ltd/Jenner-Dyer Holdings Ltd will be made in writing before any payment will be made. We reserve the right to terminate your booking should any of the following apply: Adverse weather condition prevents the safe delivery / set up / use of the equipment; Access to the venue is inadequate; Deposit / Final Balance have not been received prior to set up of equipment.
